Where is all the money being spent?

In 2022/23, UK government raised around £1,029 billion (£1 trillion) in receipts – income from taxes and other sources. This is equivalent to around 40% of the size of the UK economy, as measured by GDP, which is the highest level since the early 1980s.

Well £112 billion was spent on paying interest on the national debt. The rest probably went to "Baroness" Mone.

Some of it comes from getting class 2 NI payments from abroad, in return for a full UK pension. Without having to return to the UK.

Well, we know that 350 millions per week are going to the NHS because that's what they told us so it's gotta be.

9.9% total which is about the same as the rest of Europe.

for this we get worse outcomes

The UK has higher avoidable mortality and treatable mortality1 rates than comparator countries. This is driven by below-average survival rates for many major cancers (including cancer of the breast, cervix, colon, rectum, lung and stomach), and poorer outcomes from heart attacks and strokes.
It does not need more money, just better organisation.

Well maybe, but the inputs could be better too. Obesity is at 25% of Adults and is a major cause of all diseases + outcomes from treatment are severely reduced with obesity. One of my eye openers whilst having dialysis were the amount of type 2 diabetics on the ward, some with missing limbs, at least 50% and up to 70-80% some days.
