    Anyone going skiing this weekend

as soon as I close the shop tomorrow the Mrs and I are off to the local mountains, we'll be bed and breakfasting in a beautiful old mountain pension in the ski area

Saturday we'll be cross country skiing and coming home Saturday evening

anyone doing winter sports this weekend ?

    Milan.

Possibly. But more likely just prepping skis as I doubt what is falling now is going to be worth even a pair of rock hoppers.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

      sharpening and waxing :-)

have you got ski touring ski's ?

the Mrs and I like down hill and cross country, and I think ski touring ski's are the perfect combination for doing cross country to get up the hill and then fix the bindings and ski down like a down-hill

anyone tried ski touring ski's ?

      they ain't cheap

      Milan.

I've done a bit of touring in my time, but fix the heel, fix the problem.

          Current quiver includes:
          Idris Renard
          K2 Seth Pistol
          Head SuperShape iS
          Head 1200SW (now rock hoppers)
          Fischer something or other

And The Wife has some Elans

I’m currently on a Navigation course in the Peak District, doing a spot of night navigation tonight.

                brrr!
