I just find it odd how calling a scum politician “scum” is something worthy of the CPS & DPP.
He was being called something based on what he did and said, not based on where he was born, his religion, or skin colour.

Maybe MPs like Diane Abbott, Theresa May, Wes Streeting and Sajid Javid should take legal action rather than the likes of IDS. Though I suspect they know that abuse because of their sex, ethnicity, sexuality and/or religion is part of the course of being in the public eye.
