None of the MSM are though.

There are some contentious stories where regardless of their political alignment and backers were they all say the same thing.

You only think of some of the media outlets that Trump stopped engaging with him e.g. BBC, Channel 4, Daily Mail to see this.

It is actually reported by other news outlets but The Guardian is the easiest for me to post on my phone and you all have easy access to the link.

As for the rest of the points, all loads of liberal progressive propaganda nonsense. Only a moron would take this article seriously.
Remember Italy? Governments had to do the "best" they could with their understanding of the scientific facts at the time.

I think it's enough to take the fact that the average IQ is 100, and that's not very bright.
Global social and mass media just makes it easier for idiots to ingest nonsense and propagate their stupidity.
        Indeed.

Conspiracy theorists aren't necessarily stupid. Many of them are highly educated and in professional jobs like surgeons, solicitors, etc
Tend to agree. Don't think there is much correlation between intellligence and grasp of reality. Some people driven by unrealistic idealism are pretty bright.

I don't know, I think it's good that there are people out there questioning everything, sure they would say you havent fully grasped reality. It's not a bad way to be. I would find it pretty tiring to be honest, I'm happy with a simple life but still.

There's a difference between questioning (a good thing IMO) and disregarding all the answers given, claiming that your unsubstantiated view trumps the collective view of the world's experts on a topic. Onr well ask "is there a dubious motive behind this?" but simply claiming any person or resource which claims "no there isn't" is "part of the plot" is hardly laudable.

There seems to be the argument amidst all this distrust of experts that "all views are equally valid". Because a lorry driver claims "covid is a hoax and lots of my mates agree" then we should take that view seriously. Wisdom of crowds doesn't always apply.

The UK is home to millions more conspiracy theorists than most people realise, with almost a quarter of the population believing Covid-19 was probably or definitely a hoax, polling has revealed.

I think now that the masks, vaccines, natural origin of Covid, are all proven to be hoaxes, they are trying to squirm out of saying they’re sorry by pretending that the people who doubted them believe something else.

FYI, here are the main conspiracy theories in order of truthfulness.

Flat Earth - definitely false (unless you count non-carbonated)
Curious George is George Bush - probably false
Big Mike and Jacinda are men - maybe one of each
We never went to the moon - fifty-fifty
                Great replacement - true
Kennedy not killed by lone gunman - definitely true

All three of them had 'scientific consensus' which was used to dismiss anyone who disagreed.

Nineteen per cent of people in the survey said it was true or probably true that “the UK government carried out the 2005 attacks on the underground in London to encourage support for war in the Middle East”, and 18% said it was definitely or probably true that “the Manchester Arena attack involved ‘crisis actors’ who pretended to be injured or killed – people weren’t really killed or injured”.
This is a common British Muslim trope; I've been earnestly told this on several occasions by Asians here with quite impressive careers and education.

I don't think you can put all conspiracy theories into a single pot, they all have their own origins and motivations. Some even turn out to be true in the fullness of time.

The burden of proof in this circumstance is on you, not the reader.
