Bit over the top reaction IMO, I don't think what she said was intended to be anti-semitic. Her points on pre-civil rights America, slavery and apartheid were factually correct. There probably are differences in individual experiences simply because black people are individually identifiable, whereas Jews, gypsies etc. are not.

PS No, I am not defending Abbot simply because she has a big bum.
PPS Mind you, saying that Jews etc. faced similar levels of prejudice to people with red hair is pretty daft. Missed that.

Just because you don't agree with their perfectly legal views doesn't make them vile! Abbots views were racist, its not the first time. Bravo for Labour's Blackshirts!
