          They can have lots of flags behind them.

          Btw haven't you noticed that the Tories love standing/sitting in front of the Union flag? Labour under Starmer quickly followed them.

            Its quite common for Politicians to stand in front of the flag. In the US there are flags everywhere in even the most enlightened companies. Here its just a picture of the queen in most Government places.

                    Will this alert only affect smart phones? Just wondering what, if anything, I can expect to receive on my 20-year old Nokia.

                    I wonder if they'll exclude mobile broadband devices.
                    Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

                      I believe that it's phones connected to the UK mobile networks. Last I checked that's all types of phone.

                      If you've got a mobile dongle I can't see how that would make a noise as they don't have speakers? The SIM card they contain may receive an alert text.
