A man has been crushed in central London, Cambridge Circus, when fixing one of those street urinals.

An air ambulance has landed in Central London this afternoon (January 27) after a man was "seriously injured" in a crush. Emergency services rushed to Cambridge Circus, outside the Palace Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, just after 1pm after a man was crushed while working on a "telescopic urinal" at the scene.
An air ambulance was seen landing in nearby Trafalgar Square, and the London Fire Brigade along with the London Ambulance Service rushed to help the victim. The exact nature of the victim's injuries are as yet unclear.
The Metropolitan Police told MyLondon: "Police were called at around 13:10hrs on Friday, 27 January, to a seriously injured man at Cambridge Circus, W1.
"The man is thought to have sustained crush injuries while working on a ‘telescopic urinal’ at the location. LFB, LAS and London’s Air Ambulance are in attendance. Officers are assisting with road closures."
