why am I not surprised our lords and masters are up to no good?

I doubt they will be taking publicity shots for their next campaign.

I have no problem with the oldest profession being legalised its the lies that annoy me. If people want to sell their services to people willing to be open about buying them then fine.

I think he means our lords and masters who are all probably married and supposed to be holding themselves to the highest principles, not bound and gag nekkid on a bed at a conference.

It doesn't really help prevent trafficking nor abuse. Best thing is to criminalise the clients, but that's never going to happen (see first post!).

One of my friends is a doctor. In her free time she helps out the local prostitutes (typically of Eastern European origin) with any health issues they might have, with the aim to support those who wish to leave the industry. It ain't pretty.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

There is no need for prostitution these days with the wide availability of blow-up dolls.

I don't care whether traffickers go to prison for trafficking or tax evasion, I just care that they go to prison.

We have a large organisation that is quite good at finding tax evaders, lets use it. As always follow the money. Border force can't cope and neither can the Police.

I care that all prostitutes should be able to make their own decisions about being in the trade, as you say if they can't then as you say its not going to be pretty.

If you want freedom that means giving people the freedom to choose to perform acts you may object to but are legal. It is illegal to solicit for sex in public places the clients are criminalised if they do that.

If the client goes to a single prostitute in a single dwelling & pay for sex that is legal. If the prostitute lives with her working friend it becomes a brothel and is illegal.
