What is the rationale behind them speaking out and getting into public fights on twitter?

They are a worst vilian than Fred the shred.

They made 30% net profit during a national emergency. thats ignoring quality aspect. It's profiteering, which used to be a serious offence.

They are facing possible criminal charges in the UK and clearly want a jury trial if they are charged. (Sorry I am being a dirty spekulator.)

Oh the Good Law Project with a very pissed off Carol Vorderman are digging into their affairs.

As this thread shows they have crossed far too many people.

Ah yes, the story that just won't die.

My comment of "What first attracted you to multi-millionaire Doug Barrowman?" caused her indoors to mention that Michelle Mone "was a successful business woman in her own right".

My response of "Check out her Wikipedia page, you'll find it less than flattering in that respect" didn't go down too well...

        Oh well.

I worked on a MOD project in the distant past and they had to hand some of the profits back over 10%. (yes I know its unbelievable that a MOD project didn't overspend/run - but then again I was on holiday most of the time).

And many are tighter than that. The MOD have massively tightened their procurement ove the last couple of years.

Agreed. Even if they had already been running an established PPE company and supplying quality gear, making such a big margin would have been despicable behaviour during a national emergency. The fact is they provided unusable crap using a new company created for the sole purpose of making money, and pushed their way to the front of the queue crowding out established suppliers on the way.. and they weren' t the only ones, which strongly suggests the government at the time enabled this. The whole lot should be behind bars and assets seized.

Amazingly, given the number of journalists (both TV and print) who witnessed and reported on these events, not ONE thought of asking what business and jobs she owned in Scotland. The answer, of course, would have been 'none'...
I'm glad no one replied to your comments to say that Pipeline Accounts/Carnegie Knox (and variations of those names), who were headquartered in Aberdeen were owned by her, because they weren't. Neither was their sister company SmaryPay (and variations of that name) or AML (and variations of that name).
The directors of those companies were part of Knox House Trust in the IoM, and while Douglas Barrowman's name may have been associated with that trust, can anyone provide evidence that it's the same Doug Barrowman that is married to Lady Moan?
