    Apparently some people...

really do hate Megan aka Duchess of Sussex.

    https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...t-officer-says
The Duchess of Sussex was subject to multiple “disgusting” threats against her life, a senior police officer has revealed, adding they were “very real” and led to prosecutions.

Neil Basu, the outgoing assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan police, told Channel 4 News the threats were deemed credible, adding that the material would have left her feeling “under threat all of the time”.

The remarks throw new light on Prince Harry’s attempt to get automatic police protection for his family when they are in the UK.

Just because you're not paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you...

And indeed - just because you are paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

They pay for protection in California, so why not here. Oh yes, over here the protection won't be allowed to be armed. And it's not as obvious as someone in a uniform.

Makes you wonder how ever other high profile visitor to the UK manages, doesn't it.

sadly there are nutters everywhere. Not a big fan of Meghan because of her actions but she shouldn't be afraid.

Was this who Duke and Duchess were complaining about?

Lady Hussey, one of Queen Consort Camilla's closest aides and a close friend of the late Queen, quit today over the remarks.

Lots of nutters, agreed, but the vast majority don't have firearms and those that do tend to be more interested in the rival gang from the next street than they are in minor Royalty. (According to this review, 4% of all homicides in the UK involve guns, as opposed to 79% in America... )

While I'm sure that's reassuring to know, you are still dead though.

But in the US and other countries.

A man in Turkey has been reportedly shot and killed by his own dog on a hunting trip after the pet stepped on the trigger of his shotgun....

                    even funnier

                    https://edition.cnn.com/2015/10/27/u...ner/index.html

Allie Carter was hunting with her dog Trigger in northern Indiana over the weekend when she became the object of an international punch line.

The 25-year-old laid her 12-gauge shotgun on the ground. The safety was off. Her 10-year-old chocolate lab did the rest.

“A dog stepped on the trigger, causing the gun to go off and strike a female hunter in the foot,” Indiana Conservation Officer Jonathon Boyd told CNN affiliate WBND.

Yes, a dog named Trigger shot her human, accidentally as far as we know. Trigger has had little to say about the matter.

Authorities said Carter was released from a local hospital with minor foot injuries.
