    Disguised Remuneration

    Dear Team,

I have received a letter from the HMRC regarding the use of disguised remuneration scheme for past years.
It says I can't appeal but can make representation.

Please did anyone receive it and what has been done.
    Can we ignore the letter.

    thanks

You've posted in the wrong forum https://forums.contractoruk.com/hmrc-scheme-enquiries/ is more appropriate.

but your choice is to get proper tax advice from someone like WTT and then pay up or simply pay up...

What you can't do is ignore the letter because if you do HMRC will just refer the debt to debt collectors and eventually to the courts.

Many of us have and so many things have been done, in the main paying up. The alternative is to whinge like a baby on Twitter.

You cannot ignore the letter and shouldn't anyway.
