    Antique TV

Is anyone able to help me please in finding a source for an old fashioned antique television such as the one in this picture?

Theses articles do not seem to be avialable in general uk high street markets as far as I am aware but maybe there is specialist from whom I can procure. I want to get salon of new accommodations ready for arrival of my wife and this would make a nice touch I think. Yes, I know this isn't digital but wil still work with set top box I think.

You would be looking for a Dynatron but they went bust.

I prefer this as a modern solution

yes and the most famous uk manufacturer of this format was Dynatron who if you search did a queen Anne style 35 years ago. I don't know of anyone currently making these you may be able buy an old cabinet and have it adapted.

It not work in UK. It uses NTSC. It not work with set top box! Also it unreliable due to age especially as capacitors dry out and valves (USA tubes) very difficult to get.

If you're looking for a cabinet to hide your TV, then get something like this:

It doesnt have to be USA model.

I believe a set top box will work because set top box plugs into co-axial port isn't it?

Even if this is a genuine post, which it clearly isn't, his wife is gonna gonna go ballistic if she's come over here and instead of a whizz bang TV that everyone has, she get's presented with that pile of steaming poo. But... it's not a genuine post so dunno why I bothered saying that.
