Late 70's. I was 15 years old. Scraping the grease off the tops of the 30ft hydraulic presses at Fords Dagenham plant prior to them being painted. No safety tether, no PPE, no guardrail. Just two pints of bitter and a cheese and onion sandwich at lunchtime. Got £70 cash for three days work and felt like a millionaire.

...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

I had some summer work as a checkout-dolly at Safeway because my parents were of the mold "if you're not at school you should be at work", I guess after my first year at university.
I didn't hate it but it was pretty boring, as a worst job it ranks pretty low.
As a kid I had a summer job handing out leaflets to a seaside touristy tat shop "free 50p gem stone with this flyer" but that was mostly walking around and wasn't for more than a few weeks.
I worked as a barman for a summer but that was fairly fun, more tiring than I would have guessed though

Other jobs I've done are waitressing - local cafe, Little Chef, local restaurant. Bar work in a local night club. Paper rounds (but only the free weekly newspapers, not the daily ones). Some strange job doing wiring of something or other where they recognised that I could also do office work so they put me in the office too to help out. Day release (from college, not prison) to work in a small accountancy doing pointless filing and typing. Apparently I had an excellent and mature telephone manner for a 17 year old. Then I got a proper job in an office and have sat on my arse, slowly festering, ever since.

            A few contenders.

Bagging spuds on the back of a potato picking machine. Cold, wet, muddy, tedious.
Security Guard in an office building. Mind numbingly boring. Left after a month as I could feel my brain turning to cabbage.
Selling discount cards for bars and restaurants door to door. Did quite well out of that one. Should have gone into sales really.
Selling computers via Mailorder. Back in the days of Intel DX chips. Company went bust when it turned out they didn't actually have any computers to sell. The reason I didn't go into sales in the end.
Motorcycle Courier in London in the days before everything got sent electronically. Actually quite enjoyed that at the time. Packed it in before I became a statistic.

Of all the IT jobs the worst was the one that involved a death march project during a stint as a permie 20 something years ago. Half the project team got canned at the end and I ended up getting a contract gig the day I was given the redundancy notice.

Job lasted a couple of days and at the end the boss told us all to pee off and he wasn't paying anyone - his attitude was we couldn't report him to anyone as we'd end up getting deported!
As an aside, I spent more than a year washing dishes in several restaurants (same country, same illegal status) and was always treated with respect by both kitchen and waitressing staff - money was useless but you got to drink all the half empty bottles of wine that came in!
An old friend of mine was working in Saudi fitting sewer pipes new homes. The locals kept bribing him with a few hundred pounds a time to connect their house to mains the sewage system. However, it was a government scheme and they would all be connected anyway.

Worst job I ever had was being TestMangler s bitch on a CUK do. I thought we were in a round but everytime he wanted a drink (which was very often) I'd have to go to the bar and buy him one and bring it over.

He then buggered off with his client for a meal and I found out he wasn't even on the CUK do.
