No it won't, other than it's outside influences that has caused the problems in the first place...

No they haven't. What do you think libdems are? They're just another shade of tories. Nothing will change for the people with either in command.

It was predicated that the Tories would lose Wakefield before the election or didn't you read/watch the media in the past month?

The result in Tiverton and Honiton was unpredictable.

Ahh some Corbynites/Socialist Workers/RMT members say that about the current Labour party.

actually I disagree we need a plan to rebuild and fund the needy. That is the government's job, currently no one looks vaguely competent to do this.

          1. compare costs to equivalent countries, identify why they are lower and force them down based on this. This goes for Energy/Housing/food.
          2. Plan for an ageing population.
          3. Plan for automation.
          4. Plan for green issues.
          5. Plan for future industry.

          etc.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Both were predicted to go although Tiverton was a special case - anger at the Tories plus the porn thing otherwise it probably would have been close.

It's shocking really - two major parties collude to manipulate electroral process, how is that not illegal?

If people CHOOSE themselves to vote for say "lesser of two evils" and vote tactically then it's one thing, but parties standing down candidates isn't fecking ok at all.

This tulip is obviously due to idiotic FPTP system still used in this country.

The two main opposition parties didn't collude and didn't stand down their candidates.

Lib Dems decided not to leaflet and not have prominent MPs visit Wakefield, and vice versa for Labour in Tiverton and Honiton.

They both decided it was worth winning one seat, and losing their deposit in the other area.

Interestingly the Tories seemed to not send prominent MPs out and about in both areas to meet the public. Boris Johnson hid on a farm in a visit Tiverton and Honiton whilst didn't go to Wakefield.

They both decided (AtW's comment: yes colluded, most likely verbally) it was worth winning one seat, and losing their deposit in the other area.
It's a clear case of collusion because no way without it they would have done opposite things, say if LibDems decided to focus all resources on one most likely to win seat thus giving up the other, then Labour would have already banked +1 and would have no reason why not try to get to +2.

Clear collusion here, but is it actually illegal under existing laws? Seems to be that it SHOULD BE, but is it? I get the feeling it isn't, but this sort of bulltulip must be breaking some laws for sure.

Pensioners get jailed for non-payment of BBC tax, but nobody blinks an eye at this sort of electroral fraud.
