Oh did I say "Russian"? I meant "British".
You should work for Putin's PR department with your ability to peddle such biased propagandistic distortion of the facts with apparent sincerity.

The 'peaceful protests' you refer to being the ones where cars end up on fire, windows are broken and shops looted, statues toppled, etc.

The peaceful protests he is talking about are like a man climbing on to the roof a tube train and then having to be protected by TFL staff from a beating by members of the public.

Or black cab drivers blocking a road in central London and tooting their horns.

Ukraine's government has said it will issue non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to fund its military as they defend the country against the Russian invasion.

The announcement by deputy prime minister Mykhailo Fedorov comes in the same week the country raised more than £200m from the sale of war bonds.

The bonds are one of a number of ways Ukraine is using to raise funds.

The government is also in talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank over emergency help.
In a Tweet, Mr Fedorov said the NFTs will be launched "soon".

However, there were no plans to sell fungible tokens, of which cryptocurrencies are a prime example, he added.

NFTs are "one-of-a-kind" assets in the digital world that can be bought and sold like any other piece of property, but which have no tangible form of their own.

The digital tokens can be thought of as certificates of ownership for virtual or physical assets.
The announcement is the latest sign that the Ukrainian government is embracing digital assets as it looks for new ways to raise money to pay for its military.

Standing on trains and blocking roads (or glueing yourself to them) is not a peaceful protest, it's a public nuisance. We don't need new laws to deal with those.

Very true. Which is why the bill WTFH mentioned is so very dangerous.

Being an, I had to google that.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

Something else I was surprised to learn is how many languages are spoken in Ukraine:

So maybe Putin is aiming to occupy just the mostly red regions in the south east

(I thought perhaps Moldova would also mostly be red, had it been coloured. But apparently over 80% of people there speak Romanian.)
