The conversations you have over a glass of wine can be the most important ones, when it comes to important decision making.

Important decisions such as: "Shall we open another bottle?"

Or "shall we invade?" We might not be living in Mad Men any more but relationship is the foundation of decision-making, and alcohol is the lubricant of choice in most of the world.

I haven't heard the COP conference described as "a boozy party" and I'm pretty sure that involved several suitcases of wine and many cheeses. (Well, Greta probably called it that)

I'd be surprised if there was much Whiskey at COP26, but I suspect there may have been some whisky.
