Looking at IMDB, she is aged 14 (born in Oct 2007) while his age isn't specified:

(That also means that the follow-up comments about women seducing teenage boys are irrelevant here.)

It's an alien. Who knows how old it is but it's unlikely to be of the same age if one party is at school and the other is in solo command of a space ship.
