When I've gone to beer fairs they've been shocked that there are ladies and young people present.

The young people are there as they've worked out the perry and cider is cheaper than the nearby pub with their discounted entrance fee.

There as us ladies over 25 are actually drinking ale in one of their 3 different sized glasses.

I've had Corduroy bags in the last 3 decades.
Mrs W was a real ale fan too ... she knew her ales. She was a porter fan. At 5'3" and dinky size 8/10, she'd happily down the pints.

Personally I ok with Doom Bar. Not a fan of Timmy Taylor or Proper Job (my mate swears by this, I just can't get on with it).

It London I'm a fan of Young's and Fullers pubs. Although for me the best real ale pub is the Harp, just off Traffalger Sq.

Yeah I got a taste for Pride whilst gigging down there, a good session ale.

Not sure if that was a reply to my post, but if so I'm thinking about it. When is it again, or is the date yet to be decided?

I have developed a taste for craft beer establishments so £5 for a pint or even 2/3 pint is par for the course.

So that'll be £9 in London then
