I thought muscle weighs more than fat. So if you work out either lifting weights , running , cycling hence using the large muscles , the weight of that , could that disguise the weight for fat ?

Fat is ok in some places.

I have some bad news for you…

You’ve probably gained three or four inches.

They’ve been changing the sizes to mess with our heads. While my old jeans from when I was 21 still fit, my new jeans are all 2 or 4 inches “smaller” despite being exactly the same size.

Still, you’re probably too skinny anyway, so I wouldn’t worry.

I've lost weight by doing exercise alone but then I was doing intense exercise. I ended up having to eat more......

            Muscle is denser than fat.

A pound of feathers and a pound of lead weigh the same - a pound. You would just need a larger volume of feathers to make up that pound....

Even the same item from the same shop in the same size and style can have different measurements.

You mean I need to have sex 5 times a day?

I'm about the same weight and more muscle so not entirely sure ... but I couldn't prove it either way as don't have any trousers from 30 years ago

That's something my 21 year old self would have been fine with ... the 51 year old me would need the session to last 2 days, with sleeping included in the session
