    Good news

    https://news.sky.com/story/petrol-hi...pumps-12347782

Petrol is at its highest price for nearly eight years after eight consecutive months of increases at the pumps, figures from the RAC show.

The motoring organisation predicted escalating fuel bills, driven by the rising cost of oil, could speed up the switchover to electric cars.
Fantastic news, I hope we see petrol and diesel dead and gone by the end of the year, air travel too at 50x current prices.

Most of your post is ridiculous, of course, but I was interested to see that the Tesla model 3 was the outright best selling car in the UK for June.

A bigger problem is shortage of truckers which appears to have impacted deliveries of 99 grade Shell V-Power petrol, I had to settle for 97 one from another place

Tesla got very few models, so it gets them on top, where as other manufactures segmented the market to N-th degree now

Good news indeed. , this will keep the working class paupers and general riff raff off the roads

          More space for me

Anyone earning less than 100K will be priced out of owning and running a car

(I only half think the above, less cars on the roads would be nice, but these things hit the poorest hardest)

True to some extent maybe, but beating the likes of the Golf, Fiesta and Corsa, albeit for a single month, still feels like progress. Over 5k sold in June, but by far the biggest selling EV in the UK, which are now nudging 20% of all sales.

Weren't/aren't sales generally hugely depressed? e.g. the only people buying new cars are the rich, who perhaps disproportionately purchase Tesla?

Or maybe it's just a really good car. Never tried one but a mate got one for work and said it was pretty cool.

Sir, that already exists, it's called congestion charge + ULEZ and it's meant to keep the poor away from zone 1.

Is that because you "over entertained" the tanker drive last night?

Its all the same when you park it in a wall!

Only a fool or a multi, multi millionaire wants to live in Zone 1. The sort of house they use for The Apprentice...
