It will be. There will either be a loophole in the law that is exploited or human rights will come in to it. You stay under an ILR for 20 years started a family, possible two or three generations and what? The gov kicks you out. They aint gonna happen is it.

I wuldn't count on it. According to the ONS, I think, 50% of immigrants of Pakistani and Bangladesh origin are on benefits!

It's not the applicant that is the problem. It's their spouses and family that also are eligble to come.

I thought we were getting a load of Hong Kong Chinese?

Or have they all gone to Canada?

                Actually its the whole picture.

Applicants that are not net contributors then frequently marry their cousins so they can get a visa and we end up with disabled kids (poor sods) from such a union.

Whereas if we hadn't allowed the applicant we wouldn't say goodbye to nearly a million quid a time.

Same for those that commit crime or have kids that commit crime a murder investigation quickly reaches a 7 figure cost.

Drug related and dishonour killings are provably more common in the immigrant populations.

Figures show certain cultures excel in the UK.

Unless we screen them we may have some bad apples but Hong Kong is the home to many of the most industrious and successful people on the planet.

Economic activity percents drop off a cliff after the white groups. Down from mid 70s to 40s and 50s and stuff. Even the Chinese.

I'm considering moving to eastern europe in later life, because at some point in the west, another frustrated painter will come along and it will all kick off.

Sounds like ability based apartheid. The only fair thing to do is to remove all barriers to immigration and pay everyone to come here, regardless of work or background. That and euthanasia for existing citizens over a certain age.
