I think they are mad expecting any advance in their fortunes at this time. Like sacking a new football manager after 4 games because of a few boos from the crowd.
They should stick with him, his brand of dull managerial stuff will do OK in a GE. Esp in more normal times. And he is the best they have got. Still wont win though as Boris is too popular a figure

I think they just compromised, assuming that they could force him into radical stuff later.
Given that at least two of the larger Unions have pulled their funding of the party, isn't it about time that they split into a neo-communist party and neo-liberal party. That would show just how much left wing nonsense is unworkable/un-votable?

Did Starmer forget he is in the UK, Blacks in the UK are not being murdered on the regular by police in the UK.
Racism is still rife here though and that's what the knee thing is about. Loads of sports teams have been doing it in the UK, for instance (and in some cases getting booed for it).
