When I met up with friends a few weeks ago we got onto the topic of how environmentally unfriendly it is to have kids. I never realised I was doing such good for the planet by not breeding

Just drive through Halfords with a magnet and then get a custom vinyl wrap and some LEDs underneath. No-one will nick it then

Coming from near Dagenham and actually working at he car plant occasionally, I always had a soft spot for fast Fords. I had a modified Sapphire Cosworth 4x4 back in the day. Hugely better in real life than the road tests suggested. I loved that car. It was the first car I'd ever owned where I would bottle out before the car would. Handling and performance were brilliant when you looked around at the other stuff on the road at the time. I remember paying £1600 per year for insurance in 1994 as they had a, ahem, "reputation"!

Just swapped the GT Speed for a Supersports btw.

Trackers have come a long way - if you do look at getting one, see what Ford offers first as the manufacturers tracking devices are more integrated into the car.

Don't contemplate it, I was doing that and then I was burgled for my GTi. I hope you have also disabled/moved that OBD port, that is a massive weakness in all Fords. The local plod told me, for a ford you might as well put your keys on a hook outside your house they had that much trouble with them.

I have Ghost + Tracker, + Disklok, massive peace of mind. You have a very nice car, you will be a target for the scum.

Edit: And once you have car security done, sort out your home security. Then your personal security.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

                      Eminently nickable though I imagine.

Your garage must have been surrounded by a twenty foot electrified barbed wire topped fence, with watch towers at each corner, and dobermanns patrolling the perimeter 24-7
