I don't 100% believe that's what happened here but I do wonder at the motivation behind those that kicked off.

I blame the schools -teaching reading and rioting.

Well that's one way for the government to get support for their bill - disrupt a peaceful protest with a load of thugs and turn it into a riot.

If the government can't accidentally organise a riot with some of their recent policies they certainly couldn't do it on purpose!

Good way to defend the right to peaceful protest, by having a non-peaceful one. Proving the government's point.
