Support for mandatory vaccination is very low worldwide. So a lot more 'oops' to come.

      Vaccines should never be mandatory.

However countries can and should use their sovereignty to prevent people who could spread an infection from entering it plus take steps to ensure their health systems aren't overwhelmed.

Tough on vaccines, tough on the causes of vaccines

Actually, I'm very surprised Johnson hasn't already said that.

I agree, but to make a parallel with clothes, the wearing of clothes is not mandatory. But anyone who chooses never to wear them must accept that if they venture out of their dwelling into a public place then they can be nicked for indecent exposure!

Same goes for the Covid vaccine. By all means keep it optional, but that doesn't mean idiots who decline the chance to have it have a right to work with others in an office or hospital or to enter any public place such as a shop or restaurant or any form of public transport.

No vaccine == no public facing job, that’s how it’s going to be

So decrees Emperor AtW, and all must obey!

But your highness, what about non-vaccinated people in public transport, or enclosed public places such as shops?

We can't stop them going around.

However if it is made harder for them to travel aboard and get a new job the number will go down.

Singling out Covid seems dodgy though. Measles is far more dangerous and incredibly infectious.

I'm curious how this will play out. I have no issue lining up when it's eventually my turn, but if my local insists on seeing some sort of certificate I may refuse on principle. Which would be a real shame.
