We could all go and clap and make a noise in our streets too, as an poorly hidden excuse for a party, but pretend it's for the NHS.

Totally pointless exercise, but hey, didn't they all feel good about themselves when they were out in the evening sun having a beer with their mates

You are right of course. Defacing statues and abusing the Police when they try and get you to adhere to pandemic rules has really captured the heart of the nation.

It might if the only mass gatherings that trigger you are the women, the blacks and the environmentalists.

Arguably, one of the worst involved predominantly white men. And this was very recent.

Odd that the Met Police chose a vigil for the death of a woman that had predominately female participants to do that.

The fact they left protests that had predominately male participants alone says something about the Met Police.

Another of your "guesses" sailing way out of bounds then. I am opposed to ALL breaches of the pandemic rules.
Perhaps you can justify why you seem to find this vigil acceptable based solely on the premise that other groups have done similar.
Try that defence in a court and see how much water it holds.

So you are against a group, mainly consisting of women, holding a vigil of the death of a woman caused by a man who was in a public position of trust?

If it breaches pandemic protocols YES. If it doesn't NO.

Even YOU ought to be able to grasp that, blessed as you are with a head that is emptier than a Hermit's address book.

I think it's mainly the militant "Karens" he has a problem with. (Perhaps he's married to one. )

Odd how only the vigil in London breached pandemic protocols and the other vigils went ahead with no police involvement.

Odd how only the war memorials in London were defaced. Must be something odd about Londoners I suppose.
