Not sure I could change your mind, agree with you. Though, I have sneaking suspicion that the ruling class doesn't really exist and it may be laughable that this bunch of inherited billionaires could form a coherent plan.

They do have a largely coherent interest.

In terms of the original post, there is a long-standing argument that racism is one way of dividing ordinary people (others include social conservatism and patriotism), so that a section of them will vote against their own economic interests.

But the race war is the class war in disguise , as BLM has been infiltrated by the hard left. Seen BLM riots where there are more blacks in the police. Plenty of whites there rioting.

Which are the same crowd that appear at any anti establishment protest. BLM, Extinction Rebillion you name it. Just an excuse to go out and cause mayhem. I'll bet the BLM don't even want them there as they aren't helping anything.

I think it's been hijacked and politicized by the left and antifa. I saw the interview with the black cop who'd got racist abuse from a white BLM protester - the whole thing's getting ridiculous.
