Ok, so why is that happening? Are you saying it's a trait of white boys to be lazy, or could there be other factors affecting their education? What can be done? Is investment in Education that perhaps targets these boys helpful?

Why do you think the boys have a problem but the girls don't. If the boys are bunking off school then there's no point in "sending" them to other schools, because they won't turn up anyway.

Lots of presumptions in your post.

I come from a poor disadvantaged background and so do the majority of my friends regardless of their ethnic background. I had guidence because I had elder siblings and some good teachers who my parents listened to before I realised I that certain teachers were altruistic.

I slag of some teachers in my previous posts because a lot of my friends due to the people who inspired them went into teaching in state schools and then left. (I didn't follow them as my teachers talked me out of it long before I left school.) They then found that they were being led by white middle class people who had no concept of both material poverty and the poverty of not understating the system. They also found themselves working in schools parents were actively against them helping their children as they had to put some effort in, most of these parents were from a certain demographic.

Fair enough, sorry I was wrong in my presumption of your upbringing. Those poor white people have probably had a much more common experience with you then people of your same ethnic background who were born into wealth and prosperity. Sorry if I am inaccurately presuming you are not white.

Associating with people based off race/ethnic background rather than shared experiences and socio-economic status is very innate tribal behaviour. It is understandable why we naturally do it but it doesn't always lead to the most accurate groupings. There are some legitimate racial grievances shared by racial groups regardless of race such as profiling by police so I am not trying to discredit race as part of the overall conversation.

When you start talking about economics which this specific thread is about then race/ethnicity is no longer the best metric to find correlations. The socio-economic situation one was raised in has a much higher predictive value.

Well I'm talking about poor white boys, but poor white are the most under represented group at universities, Girls tend to do better at school, that could be because they are more mature or schools tend to be ran by women with few male role models.

I think boys from a poor background do badly because, well the schools they attend will be in poor areas and likely to be underfunded. They tend to be from unstable family backgrounds. The don't see a way out.
However, the point is not many people are looking into this or are willing to buck the trend. It should be major area of investment and focus.

Well it is illegal to setup a charity or organisation that discriminates on skin colour.

Pensioners have high voting turnout and that gets them big benefits from politicians.
