Why don't these idiots understand that this sort of thing just raises prejudice?

Why did they vandalise the Lincoln statue?
I bet it was white middle class kids that like to tell people to 'check their privilege'."Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like? If that is the case then we have free speech."- Elon MuskComment

That would be my bet too. Hopefully they will be arrested and prosecuted.
They should learn a more respectable pursuit like touring English cathedral cities. I hear Salisbury is very nice this time of year.Comment

Peaceful protests with no vandalism don't make national news.Originally posted by xoggoth View PostWhy don't these idiots understand that this sort of thing just raises prejudice?
Vandalise a few war memorials/statues, throw traffic cones at a few police officers heads and have a police horse plus rider ride into a traffic light and your protest is on the front pages."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Had to laugh this morning some middle class rich kid phoned up in full support of BLM, threw a few statistics around he didn't understand. Then when asked what the BLM movement wanted from the protest he said "I'm white, I can't talk for them" he really didn't see irony.
Now we have some bloke on saying I was once walking round in a predominantly white area and the Police targeted me using stop & search and prosecuted me for dealing drugs (not possession), that he feels was racist. I don't think the scales that measured the drugs were racist.Last edited by vetran; 7 June 2020, 11:50.Comment

Strange the Iraq war protest, David Kelly protest, Pro & anti Brexit marches didn't result in significant violence or vandalism yet led the news?Comment
