Interestingly BBC News just said the budget is now expected to contain measures to help the self-employed, but didn't say what they might be.

Maybe Rishi is going to give us a new super fluffy cotton wool-like landing for IR35...

Budget is going to help self-employed with IR35 compliance by bringing them in thereby enabling massive savings on IR35 insurance...

I reckon - perhaps optimistically - it's going to be a pretty uneventful budget, tax-wise*. They might not even scrap ER completely, just make it moot for us lot

It's called IR35 and it's to help them not be self-employed anymore.
