Was kicking myself a wee bit on the conundrum - spotted CHAPARRAL straight away, but was busy thinking "2Ps?" and Maggie buzzed. Well deserved win for her though - she was definitely the better all round player.
Or not, as the case may be
Great game though, and an amazing achievement just to have got there!Comment

I have just watched the show playing along this evening.
First round for some reason I got in my head an 8 letter Rabouten (a fruit) but then realised I'd spelt that horribly wrong.
2nd Score Idiocy I didn't see and was then behind, scoring just 10 points after the number round and behind your 23.
Next matched 7, then 6, but took the numbers round from the both of you.
My score 33 to your 43.
Next 7 with the pair of you.
Then I got Maoris for 6 when you both messed up, leaving me on 46 to your 50.
Same on next, then I took the numbers round.
Now on 66 to your 60.
Next round you both got 7, I got 6.
Then you both got 6 I got 5! Going word blind.
Then matched the next three rounds, to the conundrum, so its 95 to you, 87 to me!
Conundrum.....
I got it first before both of you. Oh High CHAPARRAL !
So 97 to me, 95 to you.
On the other side if compared Maggie beat me 104 to 97 even though I got the Conundrum.
Years since I played, my word spotting is now pants.
I think a game of online scrabble is in order. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment
