I think I give up on you. You will still be praising the NHS as they push you into a corridor to die when you are suffering from something that would be routinely treated in the rest of the developed world. -
See, it's funny. All this effort and you could have found a single quote, a single shred of evidence to back up your claims. But nope. Telling.Originally posted by CoolCat View PostI think I give up on you. Nope it seems to be the people who have had good care from those specialisms who sing it's praises. Those who have had incompetent GPs, midwives, etc or work for the service don't.Originally posted by CoolCat View PostDont think thats true, most people are biased by the never ending pro NHS propaganda we are fed in this country. If you go sit in some NHS waiting rooms and listen to peoples true feelings about the crap care they get, or listen to anyone who has had care abroad recently and is able to compare and contrast to NHS equivalents... you will get a different story."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

That has not been my experience, I have lived all over the country and have a disabled child* so I'd think that I have more exposure to the NHS than most and I have never once had any issue with services.Originally posted by CoolCat View Post"good care" is pot luck in the NHS, and the chances are not that high
Waiting times can sometimes be longer than I'd like but anything requiring urgent care has always been handled very professionally and in a timley manner.
Im not reading all the way from the start of this thread... roughly at what point did it go so wildly off topic? Any chance we could get it back on track?
* By extension we are also friends with a significant number of parents and carers with disabled children/young adults and I believe from previous discussion that they have the same opinions on the level of service as I do.Comment
