It isn't funny, anyone extemporizing religious hoohah on public transport is clearly deranged already, and could just as easily be about to press a button that poofs everyone in the vicinity. I'm surprised he wasn't clubbed senseless TBH.Comment

As it was, the device failed to detonate, but that doesn't mean there was just a minor fire in a bucket. There was a flash fire, a wall of flame. Severe enough to injure 30 people, injuries ranging from singed hair and missing eyebrows to a woman who remains in hospital with life changing burn injuries. There are still people in hospital even now from the Manchester Arena attack, it doesn't bear thinking of just how bad it would have been had this device gone off properly.
So to compare Parson's Green to your uncle's pipe is rather unfair to the victims, don't you think?Taking a break from contractingComment

Panicing costs lives. There's nothing wrong with saying that you numpties. The story today could easily have been hundreds decapitated on the 6:22am to Euston."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Have a read of Nicks Monday post about the Estonia it has some very real insights to how panic kills people, but it also shows up how human nature can take over, as those traits which would get you interred for a very long time in normal circumstances are also some of those that would mean you survive a disaster.Comment
