I got shouted out by a well dressed lady recently for not stopping for her on a Zebra Crossing. I did then stop, pointed out that since she was riding her bike across she wasn't therefore a pedestrian, had no right of way and was in fact breaking the law.
And just too be clear, there was no chance of me hitting her by not stopping since we were at opposite ends of a fairly wide crossing and she would not have been inconvenienced in the slightest...
But I do get seriously irritated by having to stop at a Pelican Crossing for some tit on a bike who's pressed the button so they can ride across the road.
Also unless a cyclist dismount sign is in a circle with a red outline you can ignore it."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

So he claims he had no time to apply the brakes, but time to shout twice at her?
He is purely reliant on right of way. Its not going to end well for him....Comment

You'd rather they dismount first so take longer to cross the road on foot?Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.Comment

I thought I read in an article that he shouted at her after he hit her, it didn't mention him shouting at her before.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Alliston said he shouted twice after spotting Mrs Briggs.
Asked why he shouted, the defendant replied: "To make the pedestrian aware of my presence so they were aware if they were to then cross the road."
He said he directed a second shout towards Mrs Briggs and slowed down as he approached her and manoeuvred his bike to avoid her.

So there is quite a contradiction in his stories.
He should try being honest.Comment

That's why in London lots of crossings have count down timers or sensors on them."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
