Reading in a local German paper about some EU bureaucrat demanding that they move Airbus into the EU as well, already plans for ESA, Euratom and CERN to move out of UK, that is worrying.

Well, I suggested a possibility. And itdoes indeed turn out not to be the case that the maps aren't faked. But there is no pre-emptive airbrushing. That's just willful stupidity.

The preamble says:

The whole paper is about the future of new EU-27 EU (i.e. the current EU-28 minus Britain), therefore it is correct in that context to leave the UK out of the discussion and indeed the maps. Quite simple and sensible really. No conspiracy, no-one has been caught out, nothing to crow about.
