              Yep. Getting quite thick. Was going out for dinner but postponed to tomorrow. Hurrah! Now I can watch Death in Paradise and share a vodka with my little puppet parrot.

                    They're normally the worst for turning normal bad winter weather into "extreme weather events".

                    Presumably the psychology behind this is that the masses will think that an "extreme weather event" does not fit our normal weather patterns so something must be up.

                    Hmmm..... Wonder what what that could be...

                    (Also c/f the current practice of honouring anything stronger than a stiff sea breeze with its a own name like it's some tropical cyclone).
