Snowed for about an hour earlier, but very light. Now the sun is out and it's starting to melt

Snowed between home and client co. this morning and was starting to settle but has since stopped. Sun is out and sky is blue now. No signs of white stuff anywhere but the client co. toilets.

If there was more than a foot of the stuff the country would cease to function.

A period of very cold wind chills is expected. Temperatures in the minus thirties with wind speeds of 15 to 20 km/h are producing extreme wind chills of minus 40 to minus 45 across the eastern half of southern Saskatchewan as well as all of southern Manitoba early this morning. Frostbite on exposed skin is possible within 10 minutes in these conditions. Moderation is expected to occur over Saskatchewan late this morning and over Manitoba this afternoon. ### Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.

I looked on that snow map yesterday and there was 125cm snowfall just outside Quebec!

Just saw a flurry of snowflakes breeze past outside the clientco office Window.

Wouldn't you just know it, they were all busy on their mobile phones.

"The AA have warned that anyone travelling in icy conditions should take a shovel, blankets /sleeping bags, extra clothing (including scarf, hat and gloves), 24 hour supply of food and water, hot water, cold water, de-icer, rock salt, torch, spare battery, petrol can, first aid kit and jump leads. I felt a right tit on the bus."

"To all Pensioners. Turn UP your heating, even if you can not afford to pay for it. We do not want you to die of hypothermia. The worse that can happen; is a bailiff will buy your debt from a utility company & kick down your door and remove any valuables. And leave you to freeze."

I blame the russians for hacking into the Met office computer to make forecasts look worse than they should be to sabotage the UK's productivity. Bit like they do with Southern Rail.
