I usually get a picture from F&F in Manc when it snows, just to remind me of what I'm missing. But it's all relative, when I was young Grandma (From Aberdeen) used to tell stories of opening the front door and using it as a fridge. Then having to climb out of the bedroom window to go to work.Originally posted by LondonManc View PostAccording to my spies, it was snowing in Oldham earlier.Comment

A scattering.
My phone still thinks I'm in Cornwall and I've been getting about 10 severe snow warnings for Penzance a day since the weekend. Mind you, severe snow down there is "can you tell it's snowed"Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Peering South from Harrogate towards Drax - looks quite bright.
Peering North towards Menwith Hill - also looks quite bright (though not in the Dr Strangelove sense, thankfully)
Edit - scrap that. It's pissing down now.Last edited by barrydidit; 12 January 2017, 11:07.Comment

DM says 80 flights cancelled at Heathrow, but comments from people living nearby say it's 6 deg C, no snow, no rain, no fog and no wind.
What a pathetic country, the EU should be pleased we are leaving.Comment

Very grey day in London, blanket one-colour cloud, which is a good indication of snow to come. It's expected late afternoon, so my drive back to the fresh air of the north will be lovely no doubt.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostDM says 80 flights cancelled at Heathrow, but comments from people living nearby say it's 6 deg C, no snow, no rain, no fog and no wind.
