This kind of migration is exactly inline with the socialist agenda of the EU. The idea is that the poorer countries join and they are dragged up by their bootstraps.

Poor people from those countries leave and go to wealthier countries. Their wealth increases in the wealthier countries. They eventually go back having contributed and saved. Both the host and home countries benefit. That's a well worn path since WW2.

There has always been "no blacks, no Irish, no dogs" type of stuff in the UK. Parts of North London were Irish ghettos. But you tolerate that because Irish pubs are quite good. And the Italians brought food, etc. But this lot are just an inconvenience to you watching on TV.

my <Deity> that makes a wail story look unbiased.

only bit I believed was that EU migration was up, however the increase in net migration was blamed on not enough people leaving the UK.

Local schools here went into special measures because they accepted so many kids who couldn't speak English or turn up for school.

We don't need a larger population, we haven't invested in services, to be an economic benefit you need to be in the fourth quintile not barely paying tax.

what is happening is a race to the bottom in wages and abuse of the EU to avoid tax.

I like Polish Food, no Romanski skleps round here yet.

Irish pub round the corner is skanky though.

Roma (or Romani People) do not necessarily have to come from Eastern Europe. Those in Sheffield might hold Eastern European passports or ID cards, but as an ethnic group they originate from India. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romani_people
