I think we beg to differ here, for a start the Bee Gees could be considered Australian and were born on the Isle of Man...

They had English parents and spent their early years in Manchester.

There is no activity that everyone in Britain enjoys. That's part of being British - we aren't clones of each other. If everyone in Britain was suppose to join a club then you would get individuals refusing to as they don't like group think.
