Depends what veggies you are cooking.

Bacon microwaves well. Lay on a plate, on top of a sheet of kitchen paper. Put another sheet on top. Four rashers 1-3 minutes, depending how crispy you want it.

So I'd go for potato, beans and bacon. Melt cheese into the beans for additional potency.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Where is this hotel which has a Tesco next door but stands in the middle of a deserted wilderness?

Does nobody do takeaway delivery? Has Deliveroo not got there yet?

Indeed - i think OP is really on his first contract away from mommy and daddy and has no idea what this 'cooker' thing is

but he can use a microwave because when he manage to wave some beans once his parents were so impressed he thought he had actually achieved something

              probably

You're a contractor. There's no such thing as extortionate restaurant prices, only extortionate expense claims.

I usually get MF's missus to bring me something in a tupperware box.

She does a lovely pesto risotto.

                      sweetie

A can of condensed milk. Not in the can!

Couple of minutes of careful watching so it doesn't boil over and you have caramel. Nom.
