unfortunately most of the FGM seems to be driven by the women. They did a documentary and asked young men from the culture about it and most of them said a resounding NO to the practice.

Did those women who have had FGM enjoy it? are they so brain washed they just get it done to their kids because they think there is no option?

or is there something much more sinister and bitchy going on here (eg. it happened to me and I did not enjoy it so I will make sure it happens to my daughter?)
