Loads of people steal the IDs of dead people as it is really easy to get someone else's birth certificate. They then use dodgy GPs etc to verify their documents.

Most kitchen staff in restaurants and hotels get paid minimum wage.

Before minimum wage came in they got paid very little which is why the only people who would do those jobs and stay were illegal immigrants.
