"People" would, if there was a program.
    1. No timescale. The "exit by March 2019" is already not certain - according to our PM.
    2. No plan. "We're going to have negotiations at some point with some people about something" isn't a plan. A plan goes through the steps which need to take place to deliver the end goal within the timeline and budget. Which leads me nicely on to...
    3. No budget. As yet, no funding has been set aside for the process.

A project with no timescale, no plan and no budget is not a project. Any contractor who does project work would know that. Anyone who thinks you can successfully deliver a major project without the above three is deluded.

We were asked if we wanted to stay in the EU, we voted to leave.

I am fully behind this government who I believe has the mandate to carry out this process.

I suppose your view on playing Poker is that everyone just lays their cards on the table then forms a committee to decide who has won eh?
        You really are weapons-grade dim!!

Err... The EU stopped us from doing that? Thicker than your average mince.
          I get up...

It wasn't a put-down. NAT has a spectacularly short fuse.

OK, glad to see that you are able to discuss things in a mature way, as usual.

Brexit, whatever that may end up meaning, is not a game of poker and it's not going to happen for 3 years. So, get used to 3 more years of people questioning, because some of us would like to keep on living until then, to keep on working, and not to have to worry about Farage, Trump and the rest of the Ultra Reicht with their hatred spewing followers goose stepping behind them.

...is the UK leaving the EU.

                There is no other definition.

....is obviously a concept that is too abstract and convoluted for a halfwit like you to ever get your empty little head around. Best you just stick to walking your dog and fondling your Rayburn until the grown-ups finish thrashing it out.

You do realise that the way we are going to negotiate with the EU is the same way the EU has just negotiated the trade (non) agreement with Canada, don't you? How can you not approve of us following the EU model? (Apart from it hasn't worked yet).

So, are you saying we are going to negotiate using a method we know doesn't work? If so, how can the negotiations get anywhere?
