Let us put it into context shall we?

European Union GDP Annual Growth Rate | 1996-2016 | Data | Chart | Calendar

UKs growth rate is 2.2% so remove the UK from the equation I would reckon Haiti would beat the EU

To be fair to the EU it is growing faster than Antartica

The only continent with weaker economic growth than Europe is Antarctica

FTFY. Let's see what the growth rate is in the 2nd half of 2016. And going forward into 2017.
I posted some links about how the UK's growth rate went up after joining the EU.
By 1973 the UK's GDP was under the average of the EU 6 at that time.
That's the reason why we joined.
          Hard Brexit now!

Keep your fingers crossed but my money is on Antartica overtaking the EU within the next 5 years

Always in the future. Your predictions so far have been rather wide of the mark. Keep up the bluffing.

Agreed. His hysterical guesswork does keep us all amused though.

Predictions are about the future by definition. And so you don't know if they're wide of the mark yet.
But no doubt you'll find out soon enough.

Just as the remainers found out back in June

Your previous predictions! And yes, obviously we'll find out! You keep doing your country down, or perhaps you don't consider it home?
