You are right. I have a friend who has decided to relocate his farm to Poland

          David Davis:
He says the government will be guided by four principles.

First, the government will try to establish a national consensus.

Second, it will put the national interest first.

Third, the government will try to minimise uncertainty.

Fourth, the government will leave the EU and put the supremacy of parliament beyond doubt.
          Failed at the first hurdle....

Basically their economy was showing signs of life, just like all the rest of them, beginning of last year.
Then Syriza came along and decided to play silly buggers and fooked it all up again.
The European countries have had mixed fortunes depending on which set of economic policies they've followed.
Where left wing agitators have gained power they've predictably fooked up.
Luckily Spain didn't let Podemos become the largest party in power.

So what do you suggest then? It seems that according to you that there is no way the UK can control its borders. Or presumably you are just content with an open borders sytem and woe betide anyone who disagrees with you.

I am content with the current system as it is - only change should have been made in regards to benefits for migrants, requiring them to work X years or pay Y tax.

However I am not the one implementing Brexit result, it's May who is doing it, so the only other way to control EU migration is to issue visas which would inevitably be based on points as they are now for non-EU citizens.

Is she trying to find middleground to please EU and thus stay in single market? I am not seeing much of middleground here, you either control your borders with visas or you don't.

If May got some wonderful alternative then she should present it now rather than reject points based system.
