Whether migrants or descendants of fairly recent migrants, ethnic minorities who refuse to integrate, it's still a migration problem that can only be fixed by proper tightening up of lax immigration controls. All home grown terrorists. So yeah migrants eh?bloggoth

A US national killed another bunch of US nationals with guns he had legally acquired. His religion and their sexual orientation are not the issue. People having easy access to weapons is the issue.
You are more likely to die in the US from an under 13 year old with a gun than you are from a terrorist.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

So is it 'terrorism'?
Sounds like an independent operating his own deluded agenda, albeit he was ISIS "inspired".Comment

Unsurprisingly, I disagree.Originally posted by xoggoth View PostWhether migrants or descendants of fairly recent migrants, ethnic minorities who refuse to integrate, it's still a migration problem that can only be fixed by proper tightening up of lax immigration controls.
It is an issue of integration (or rather identity), but I don't agree it's down to migrants "refusing" to integrate.
Let's say you're a British/US born child of an immigrant. You face constant anti-immigrant propaganda. Britain is all you've ever known, yet you're supposed to somehow associate with a country you've never been to. You're not accepted as "British" by many - you're brown, and a descendant of someone with a foreign accent. So where do you belong? Along comes a group that welcomes you, makes you feel like you're important, you've got a purpose. Hardly surprising you're susceptible to their message.Last edited by mudskipper; 12 June 2016, 21:25.Comment
