It has a certain sheen to it. I'm guessing that was after the "renegotiation".

If it was a Facebook thread:

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Not sure information, in the way you probably mean, is what is needed. In the short to medium term there will be some predictable consequences, I doubt the Inners are wrong about a slide in shares and a few years of low growth for example.

It is the longer term we should concern ourselves with. What will happen to immigration and our societies when the likes of Turkey or Albania join up? There is no doubt that the EU is undemocratic, check the rules and structure, so how can we be sure the EU will not seek to end our current opt-outs, take back the rebate, impose restrictions that will damage our banking sector or try and force us into Schengen? What else will we be forced into against the will of most British people?

Above all, we need to do is look at the realities human nature and of history. Johnson was right. Ignore the hysteria for mention of Hitler, his point was that there are always those at the top who seek to impose their ideals on the rest of us with complete disdain for real problems we suffer. Look at history, of the Balkans for example. Every empire that has attempted to impose uniform laws on people of disparate cultures has failed and caused immense conflicts.

The biggest irony of the Brexit position is that they will not be able to stop the free movement of labour

apparently that is the reason given for staying. Yes you have Millions of Eastern Europeans undercutting your local labour rates but if you leave we will deport Ethel & co from Spain with their retirement money. Its like a teenager ruining their bedroom to get back at you.
