To be fair he's said he's an engineer a few times on the board and even said the type, though I can't remember.

However he is either naive or stupid if he doesn't understand that a fall in house prices accompanies a screw up in the entire economy.

He only needs to ask people 15-20 years older than him. Though there are some people about 3 years older than him who were caught out by it.

Well the word engineer is misused.
And it's relevant to the posts he makes on here.
If he's an accomplished engineer who spent years working hard at university then he would be justified in feeling hard done by. And it would almost excuse his whining and moaning on here.

If on the other hand he's a washing machine "engineer", say, then he has no justification for his whinging.

MM, I can tell you what the right fight is for you - UK tax system must recognise people living together and combine their tax allowances, so that when wife stays at home with kids then husband gets double allowances in full - that's fair fight.
