That's the real weakness of the Brexit argument, it's all hot air about how we'll be just fine and everything will be Ok.
But it seems to be a real stretch to suggest that leaving will have no economic impact whatsoever especially as we do not have a large industrial base anymore.
      Hard Brexit now!

Presumably that means we'll also be at the back of the queue next time the US needs a lapdog to go to war with
The US can basically go feck themselves. Telling us to give up our "empire" while keeping their own to themselves. And how much did it cost us? Try googleing it...About £150bn....in case you were wondering...

More likely it was a full stop.

TBH, that might have been a decent comeback if you'd said 'coma'

Post-Brexit trade deal with US could take 10 years, Obama warns - BBC News

Oh dear, but UKIP says it's going to be easy?

If UK decided to leave EU then one could bet that both Germany and France, plus most of other countries (maybe other than Ireland) would make sure that whoever left is punished massively to prevent anybody leaving in the future - that would be the only sensible strategy to use, plus they'll be able to create lots of EU regulations that currently being sabotaged by UK, say some EURO-10 car engine requirements that would feck up all UK car manufacturers who'd have to relocate.

Then we will have to get better and work harder.

You can work as hard as you want, but if there are tariffs set on your products then you won't go far selling into important markets.

The only way EU can prevent anybody else leaving EU is by making example of the first country that does it. It could have been Greece, but they had enough sense to avoid it, there is no way EU or USA will do quick deals with UK in the event of leaving - that just won't happen as a matter of principle and basic strategy.

Also, God forbid having ANY Govt in UK without judicial oversight from Europe, politicians in this country are not fit to run the country even with oversight, nevermind without.

For that reason I vote to STAY.
